Friday, March 18, 2005 at 7:31PM Yesterday we went downtown for St. Patty's day. There were bagpipers dancing on the bar. It was quite entertaining. Also entertaining was Freund's birthday fiesta last weekend. Highlights included Freund hitting a pinata with a broom handle and a spinning contest on Jenny Conway's Sit-n-Spin.
Not so entertaining was paying over $1000 at the dealership to get my clutch replaced on my Jetta. Two days after getting my car back, my starter died in front of the apartment. Two fucking days. I was going to have my car towed back to the greedy bastards at the dealership so they could fix my starter (which probably would have cost me 600 or 700 dollars). But Freund offered to help me fix it. All it took was a $100 starter from Napa and a few hours of our time, however,it would have been much shorter if we had the correct tools and followed the directions right the first time. Oh well. You live, you learn...and you save 600 bucks.
It's been over two weeks since my second Comcast interview. Last week I got a call from Comcast HR, they were trying to track down the results of my drug test. Thats the last I heard from anyone. It's really starting to drive me crazy.
