Giant Pretzel Salt

The other day I was cleaning the kitchen, I came across an opened-up plastic packet of giant salt, the type one might use on a soft pretzel. Thinking that it was merely left over from the frozen soft pretzels Colleen had in the freezer, I threw out the packet. That was not the case, however, when Colleen came to me the next day looking for her pretzel salt. The packet of salt was for the rest of the box of pretzels that were still in the freezer. She was not happy...she refuses to eat the rest of them without giant pretzel salt. So later that day I went to the store. I was hoping to find some giant pretzel salt for sale separately, perhaps in the spice aisle. But no such luck. If you want the salt, you gotta get the pretzels. I left the store, saddened and defeated. What was I to do with 5 soft pretzels with no giant pretzel salt? I had one last option. Where else have I seen large quantities of giant pretzel salt? At Auntie Anne's pretzel shop in Gurnee Mills of course. I decided to stop at the Mills after work today. I stopped at Auntie Anne's and bought a soft pretzel and asked for a side cup of giant pretzel salt. It was ingenious! The plan worked. Now when Colleen comes home from work tonight she will see a cup full of giant pretzel salt and all will be well.
