So I found out that I will be making $12.05 an hour to start. Not as much as I hoped, but it's still more that I was making at WQAD. I also found out that I will be working in Highland Park. So I'm going in tomarrow to fill out paperwork and then going to orientation on Monday.

Yesterday was fun, I went biking with Colleen down the trail in Round Lake Beach by Rollins Road. It's such a different experience to bike through a town than it is to just drive through it. We made it all the way to Kristof's World O Fun, but found out that the go-karts were closed. Next we stopped at a pizza place to get food, but it didn't open til 4, so we had an hour to burn. We browsed a pawn shop for a while, and then made our way across the street to a Mexican grocery store to buy some pineapple Fanta and spanish cookies. Then it was back across the street to eat some most excellent slices of pizza. That morning Colleen had her store manager interview, which, she thought, didn't go very well. I was hoping to get her mind off of it, so I hoped our little bike adventure helped. I do hope she was overreacting about the interview and she ends up getting her own store anyways.

Today at Papa Johns, there wasn't one damn pen in the entire store, so Chris had to borrow mine. It's my favorite pen, so I was reluctant to let it spend the next two days in the store until I work again on Friday. I had to leave it though, because there was no other way Chris could have finished his paperwork after I left. I fear for the safety of my pen...as anything I leave at Papa Johns tends to dissappear. (CD's, magazines and a GameBoy Advance, just to name a few) But Chris assured me of the pen's safety. We shall see.
