We were at Tara Albertin's wedding in Bloomington last weekend. At the reception, they were serving our meals. I received my plate with chicken, and Colleen was awaiting her vegetarian plate. The server came back with her plate, which consisted of alfredo noodles and broccoli. She apparently tripped over something and noodles went flying everywhere. Some of them landed on Colleen's dress, leaving a spot on the side. A large portion ended up on the floor, which is where Colleen's purse was. We opened up the purse and had to pick out the noodles. The server apologized and helped clean it up. Colleen has mildly upset, but I saw it as a opportunity to get something free. Since it was a wedding reception and we were already getting out meal for free, we couldn't really get a free meal out of it. So I asked if we could get some free mixed drinks from the bar. She gladly brought them to us.
