Everything this Valentine's Day kinda fell through. We wanted to go to the Melting Pot for dinner, but stupid me didn't try making reservations until the day before. Not a good idea. Our alternate plan was to just go to Uno's in Gurnee. But we learned pretty quick that if you are married and have three or more kids...then Uno's is where you go on Valentine's Day. We were surrounded in every direction by tables of kids and parents. So it wasn't the most romantic setting. But the food was delicious. The second thing to fall through was my gift to Colleen. I had ordered an arrangement of flowers from 1-800-FLOWERS to be delivered to Blockbuster since Colleen had to work that day. But they never came...until the next day that is. Even though 1-800-FLOWERS guaranteed delivery on Valentine's Day. (I even paid a $15 premium) I ended up calling them and getting the 15 bucks refunded at least.

Well, it wasn't an extravagant Valentine's Day by any means...but we both enjoyed it nonetheless.
